Powerful players always want to know who their enemy is, it is no surprise that they know MC is the sect master but the question is do they know he is the former prince of the previous dynasty? If I want to best my enemy I have to know everything about them, the MC has been mostly occupied with protecting people from demons but he has still managed to plant his own players within the field. The MC has been too loud, this could be intentional or not but I think it is intentional. In earlier episodes when Ying Sha asked him if it was smart to show all his powers to the other players, I thought he meant his cultivation but now I think MC purposely revealed who he is.
Showing all your cards, is another power move especially if you have a hind trump card at hand.

Welp so now this let me know King Wu had something going on within a different branch in the demon sect, and he had to have notice demon lord presence ain't no way his daughter show up out of nowhere when the demon lord unleashed his true self. I hope this lead in a epic reveal or shocker.

What if the King id backing a specific faction from the Demon race and this is a political alliance? After all, the antagonist mentioned an "Emperess" quite a few times... Or maybe she got like "absorbed" by his daughter or something? Anyway, King Wu and the MC share the same priority for the moment: The People of the World. It's pretty clear they won't settle their differences until after all this is over - plus the MC already stated that quite clearly in previous eps, no worries there... oh well! We shall wait and see.

I'm definitely interested to see how this unfolds because...just WOW!! Starting off that his daughter is mysterious, might not even be his daughter (could be his wife or something close to what you said) smh!! Then there's the demon lord's appearance and also King Wu's intentions, plus how TF so many people know the MC's damn true identity (he must suck at masquerading and isn't fooling anyone the whole time thinking he's being clever lmao)?!

This season has become a skillet of scrambled eggs aha, there's so much plots to unravel, what a twist of events. This is quite intriguing indeed, fun fun fun!!
